Marshall’s Bluetooth speakers are pretty much iconic worldwide, and in many cases the de-facto best choice for Bluetooth enabled home audio solutions.

The three speakers in Marshall’s home lineup – Acton, Stanmore and Woburn did so well that Marshall improved them two years back and launched the second generation of the three models, which offered tangible improvements over the first generation.

Marshall’s Acton III, Stanmore III and Woburn III

This time, Marshall has further iterated the three models and launched the third generation of its Action, Stanmore and Woburn Bluetooth speakers. The speakers will also be available in a choice of colours.

Outward Angled Tweeters With Updated Waveform

The third generation brings in many improvements over the last generation. Marshall says they have “re-engineered” the speakers for a more “immersive experience.” The tweeters have been angled slightly outwards and have got updated waveguides. This is meant to increase the airyness of the sound. The third gen comes with an all-new Placement Compensation feature that corrects for any reflective surfaces that may affect the sound. Built-in Dynamic Loudness adjusts the tonal balance.

Bluetooth 5.2

Gen 3 Action, Stanmore and Woburn speakers will all support Bluetooth 5.2, which is the latest generation of bluetooth technology. This ensure maximum range and optimal sound quality. Loss of fidelity, a common occurrence in wireless speakers is minimised with Bluetooth 5.2.
