The first time you saw her was probably when you were a kid, and learning to know that the world is dark and bleak and sad, and the only way to smile was to look at her face and realize that she’s worth a thousand untold stories. She’d come running to you when you needed her most, she’d exceed what she could ever mean to you, she probably would not be that great at times, but you’ll still hope for better days. You’d lock yourself up in a room and turn sides, think of her, think of the miserly day you’re currently into, and then she’d be there, right there standing in front of you.

Love is a doing word, and love is exclusive to two pure souls. When has there been anybody more important in this relationship apart from the two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl? When a boy meets a girl, there can’t be anything bad about it. Until the day her father turns up, and dictates the relationship, puts restrain order, takes her away from you, and embeds names in your memories. Some would break, some would crack, and others will only come back stronger. Every girl needs a dad, just like every girl needs a boy to lean back on, to catch her smiles, tears and fears.

Sometimes you need to grow your faith back right from the place where it all fell off. You need to revisit the things you did for her, and she did for you, sometimes you need to ward off the dad as an obsessed middle aged critic and strive in all your ways for her. After all, you know it’s love when you feel like it’s love. The best people never let their best people leave, like ever.

By now your mind must be exploding with a lot of questions, majorly circulating around – why has an effin’ gaming page gone mushy and tenderly explaining their boyish love story slash tragedy. To tell you more, we were confronted by a similar dad some days back. Threw us out into the streets when we were just advising her “Baby you can do so much better!” The dad, a leading games distributor brand in India, E-Xpress, felt that he could intervene between the two of us and put an end to the long living love story between us gamers and her, the games.

In our iconic GTA V: iLL Trio Review, not all of us were perfectly happy with her. For example, I always praise my baby (even if she’s making faces on the webcam or Snapmatic), so I couldn’t afford to give anything but 10 out of 10. Her happy, me happy, and we lived happily ever after. But my fellow competitor lover of her eyes pointed out to me and the rest of the world that maybe she’s been hiding deeper secrets, the reason why she’s being a little sweet about the two of us before the world. He opened my eyes as well he opened the eyes of everyone else’s. He sent a 7.5, the reason why the grand total didn’t reach a perfect 10, a little needful act to please daddy. And we were standing outside the door, loud to the world as usual, when the father stepped in, threw us away, gave us names, and asked her never to meet her again. Daddy screamed, BLACKLISTED!

At first, is sounded like a bummer, but after a certain point of time you will definitely see things in the truer light. The words were for her, for her people, to make her feel that every bit about her means to me, from her smiles to her little failures, and we can only hope to become better people if we only listen to the ones we truly love/trust and adjust ourselves. But some people are worth fighting for, raising a mayhem in the name of.

So here’s the crew at iLLGaming wish the daddy a full recovery from obsessive fatherly problems and can rest assure that his daughter is safe with the boy that can do wonders. And if she falls apart crying because of our uncontrolled emotional outburst, we will be there to raise her up again, hand in hand, eye to eye. And even if he doesn’t allow, the boy will still sneak out and meet her, day in day out, she would feel the same way too, and this will continue from boyhood to manhood. Because she’s a different story every month, and the boy dare not give her up for some trivial reason as this. And the touch never gets old.
