At the Asian Games 2022, eSports will be featured for the first time. The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has announced eight competitions for medals. FIFA , a PUBG Mobile and Arena of Valor adaptation built specifically for the Asian Titles, Dota 2, League of Legends, Dream Three Kingdoms 2, Hearthstone, and Street Fighter V are the other games in the running for medals.

At stake in each competition are the coveted gold, silver, and bronze medals. There will be 24 medals awarded in total at the 2022 Chinese Olympic Games. Robot Masters and Virtual Reality Sports will also be played as exhibition events throughout the games.

India will enter this tournament with its 18-member contingent finalized after National Esports Championships.

League of Legends World Championship 2022

For its twelfth edition in 2022, the championship will feature competitions in Mexico City, New York, Toronto, and San Francisco. Twenty-four teams from Riot Games’ twelve professional leagues are competing over the course of a month. The Indian esport team will also be participating in this continental tournament.

About the Tournament:

The Asia Pacific Predator League returns for the fourth season in 2022. This year, the Grand Final will be held in Japan. There will be eleven teams competing from ten different APAC countries. Every country holds its own preliminary competitions in the months leading up to the main event. The contestants would be competing each other for winning the prize of $40,00,00 by playing PUBG and Dota 2.

The winners selected in Acer Predator League 2022 India will also represent India in this tournament. The dates for the Indian qualifiers have been announced. The registrations to participate in this event is open and one can compete in this series and try their luck to go to Japan for the finals.

The International 11
