You’d least expect the studio responsible for Dark Messiah of Might and Magic to release anything remotely capable of being a Game of the Year contender. But in an industry where online DRM and horse armor are typical, it’s nice to be on the receiving end of a pleasant surprise such as Dishonored. It’s a heady steampunk concoction blending the best bits of BioShock and Deus Ex, topped with dollops of stealth gaming bliss. And even though the narrative choices are binary, you’ll find yourself skulking the rooftops of Dunwall time and time again, long after you know how the riveting tale of Corvo Attano ends. One of the most memorable games this generation

Sahil Arora says:
Fantastic combat elements combined with a well-executed yet thick narrative make the beautiful world of Dunwall become a part of you. I’d call Dishonored more of a homage paid to Deus Ex (one of my all-time favorites) and Bioshock (another excellent series) lovers, giving them the best of both worlds and combining them to make one of the best and most focused synergies ever created. Great game!

When not being the Editor-in-Chief at iLLGaming or a tech journalist that he is known for, Sahil indulges himself with his pug named Tony. His favorite games are Dota 2, Dark Souls, Deus Ex and DOOM. He is sucker for PC builds and dreams about benchmark numbers in his sleep.
