I admit it. I’m one of those rare creeps that absolutely loves Far Cry 2. FC2 was one of those really dark-themed games where you don’t really have a motive and only your masochistic pleasures drive you further. Far Cry 3 is somewhat different. FC3 tries its very best to get you involved, but I don’t really care for that. All I wanted to do in Far Cry 3 was explore the stunning open world. The Dunia 2.0 engine shines in every department. Combat mechanics in Far Cry 3 are a textbook example of good low-level programming. Its deep. Even the multiplayer is impeccable. I’m complacent towards graphics in games, but Far Cry 3 is one of the best looking games I’ve ever seen. Far Cry 3 is a technical masterpiece, and one of the most enjoyable games of 2012.
